Pakistan vs Bangladesh Highlights, 1st Test: Pakistan 23/1 at stumps on Day 4, trail by 94 runs
Mushfiqur Rahim narrowly missed out on a double century, scoring 191, as Bangladesh declared their innings at 565 all out in response to Pakistan’s first innings total of 448-6 declared on the fourth day of the opening Test in Rawalpindi on Saturday.
Rahim’s innings included a crucial 196-run partnership with Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who contributed 77 runs, leading Bangladesh to their highest total against Pakistan. The match has seen an impressive display of batting over four days, with more than 1,000 runs scored and 17 wickets falling.
On the penultimate day, Pakistan were at 23-1, trailing by 94 runs after losing opener Saim Ayub early. Abdullah Shafique was at the crease with 12 runs, while captain Shan Masood was on nine at the other end.
